This Teaching Portfolio of Paul Pyatt is submitted to you for your due consideration. This is an electronic version and affords me the ability to add other media to the portfolio, such as digital movies, sounds and pictures, that would not be possible using a traditional text based portfolio.
This portfolio is in a continuos stage of development. You can see by the issue date above whether it is the latest version or not. If the date above is older than 6 - 9 months it is likely a new version is available. Please contact me should you require an update or additional copies.
This portfolio is by far the most extensive record of my teaching career and the navigation menus should make it easy for you to locate the information you are particularly interested in.
It is my hope that you will take time to peruse the whole portfolio in particular the video section of teaching experience as this gives you an idea of my style of teaching.
This portfolio documents all college work and teaching experience pertaining to the credential for Multiple Subject Blended Program for teachers in California, with a concentration on Earth Sciences. The aim of this portfolio is to be a living record of my progress both in the credentialing process and professional development thereafter.
The format of the contents adheres closely to the standards described by California State University Stanislaus Liberal Studies Department. It gives a clear picture of my efforts to reach a teacher credential and allows my instructors and mentor teachers to be able to quickly find what experience I have thus far, both at college and as a student teacher. Additionally there are personal statements that give and idea of what my teaching philosophies are and journal entries of my classroom experience, with evaluations by master teachers.
